I’m sure most of you have heard that quite recently fashion designer Giles Deacon has teamed up with New Look to create an affordable make up range – GOLD by Giles. The range is made up of things like lipstick, nail varnish and eye shadow palettes
However on my way to the till recently I spotted this highlighter, in the shade ‘pleasure’. I don’t really own many highlighters, and thought for the £2.99 price tag, it was definitely worth a shot.
The product comes in stick form, it’s a pretty pink colour, and not too shimmery. It does need to be blended properly in order to stop it looking caked on though. The pigmentation isn’t amazing, but it did give a fairly nice overall glow. Out of interest I did a swatch of it next to Benefit’s High Beam to see how the two compared. However for £2.99 I’m not complaining, the packaging is cute and if you are looking for an extremely affordable highlighter, I’d say give this one a go.
