I hadn’t really heard a great deal about FashionistA as a make up brand, but when I spotted their display in Superdrug I was kind of intrigued by their custom design palette system, which essentially allows you to choose between 49 shades of eyeshadow and 12 blushers and create your own personalised palette.
Playing it safe I went with neutral eye shadow colours, but as you can see, they come in their own individual cases. You push the eye shadow out of the casing, and then insert it where you like into the palette.
I found these shadows to be quite highly pigmented and also very soft to the touch. I did experience some fallout when using the shades bronze and brunette bombshell, as they seemed to contain a lot more glitter than the more nude colours cafe au lait and nude glimmer.
Superdrug had an offer on where you could purchase a palette and 4 shades of eye shadow or blusher for a very reasonable £12 (the palette is normally £5, and the shadows/blushes are £4).
I think it is a great alternative to look at if something like the mac pro palette is slightly out of your price range.
