As my last cocktail making post on how to make a Jellybaby cocktail went down quite well, I thought I’d share another two recipes today on how to make some fairly simple but tasty cocktails! – Today it’s how to make Tiffany Blue Lemonade and Purple Rain.
For the Tiffany Blue cocktail you will need:
Lemonade
Blue Curacao
Peach Schnapps
Orange Squash
Start off by filling your glass about 1/2 to 3/4 full of lemonade, then add a shot (or more depending how strong you like it) of Peach Schnapps. Next, grab your Orange squash and add a small amount into the mix. The squash is really just to mix with the Curacao to get the Tiffany colour!
Next up grab a spoon, and slowly start adding your Curacao into the mixture, you will quickly be able to tell when you reach the colour you are aiming for but I just suggest starting with small amounts and building the colour.
Finally, I topped my mixture up with lemonade, and sugared the rim of the glass.
For the Purple Rain cocktail you will need:
Grenadine
Lemonade
Blue Curacao
Peach Schnapps
Rum
I put some ice in my glass, then added my mix of Grenadine, Rum and Schnapps. I topped up this mixture with some lemonade, then grabbed my spoon again and slowly drizzled some curacao into the glass, to give it the purple colour. Finally I topped up the drink with lemonade and sugared the rim of the glass!
Two fun cocktails to drink on these sunny days that we seem to be having a lot of at the moment!
