Fighting The Frizz: Swell Renew Serum Review

In the Summer months, like a lot of people I suffer with frizzy, flyaway hair. I’ve used many different products to try and combat this, but many of them weigh my hair down and make it look flat and greasy. Not a good look. Cue Swell Renew Serum. My sister introduced this to me after she got it in a Marks and Spencer beauty box. It claims to banish frizz, keep hair sleek, hydrated and a picture of health. Concealing your split ends and protecting from heat, it’ll give you the perfect professional finish. It specifically mentions it’s good for fine hair, so how did it measure up on my fairly thick fairly frizzy do?

Fighting The Frizz

The formulation is very light, it doesn’t feel heavy and somewhat sticky like other frizz banishing products I’ve used (*cough* John Frieda). My hair felt weightless, glossy and healthy whilst concealing some of my dodgy split ends.

I towel dry my hair and apply about 2 pea sized amounts to the mid-lengths and ends of my hair. Then I blow dry my hair or leave it to dry naturally. I try not to overload my hair with the product as I think a little goes a long way

Whilst browsing I also noticed Swell do a conditioner, shampoo and hair mask! I definitely want to try some of these out in combination with the serum to see if it works wonders. You can shop all Swell products here or find the serum at £13.50 for 30ml here.
