Sephora Favourites ‘Give Me Some Lip’ Collection

Who doesn’t love a little mini? They’re much more convenient, easier to carry around in your bag and cute. When I was on holiday this year I’d pretty much finished my annual supermarket sweep around Sephora, I got to the till and saw this cute little set. Featuring lots of pretty rose and nude shades the “give me some lip” Sephora favourites set features mini versions of popular lip products.

Featuring treatment balms, matte lipsticks and lip glosses the kit basically meets all of your lip care needs. To make things even better you get a full size Lancôme Juicy Shaker and Smashbox liquid lipstick, making the set more than worth it’s $28 value.

The Juicy Shaker was probably my favourite item of the entire collection. It smells so good and comes in shade 313 Boom Meringue. With regard to wear it’s fairly sheer and the colour pay off isn’t fantastic but this is more a gloss than anything. Plus it tastes fantastic and is fun to shake so I can’t really complain.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a Too Faced melted lipstick in the set, I absolutely love these things, I find they’re long wearing and come in a multitude of lovely colours. This particular shade is called ‘Chihuahua’ and is a dusty pink. When applied to lips its very much a ‘your lips but better’ colour.

The Smashbox liquid lipstick is in shade ‘stepping out’, it’s quite a dark nude. I much prefer dark nudes as a rule as because I’m fairly pale lighter colours wash me out.

The NARS lip pencil comes in the shade ‘Rikugien’ and is a beautiful dusty pink colour. Colourwise It’s very similar to the Too Faced melted shade but just not as long wearing.

I was also a big fan of the Sugar Rose tinted lip treatment, this is lovely and moisturising. It’s a great little addition to my handbag and applies with ease, leaving my lips with a nice glow.

Last but not least is the Kat Von D studded kiss lipstick in ‘Lovecraft’, the packaging is fantastic – the entire tube is shiny black and studded. It looks great on a dressing table and the colour is another lovely dusty pink.
