Soap and Glory Haul

I went into Boots the other day with the intention of buying a lip balm, and I somehow walked out with a bag of Soap and Glory products, I somehow managed to justify my spending due to the fact that all of the products are on 3 for 2 at the moment!

I picked up the ‘Clean on Me’ shower gel, Eau De Soap and Glory Original Pink perfume and ‘The Fab Pore’ facial peel on the 3 for 2 offer. Heel Genius was a present from someone recently and the Thick and Fast mascara is a freebie from this months Elle magazine!

I had read quite a few good things about this particular Soap and Glory scent. I sprayed it on myself during a recent shopping trip and kept wishing that I had bought it after I got home. I looked for it the next time I went out but it was sold out in every Boots I looked in! My luck was finally in this time though and I love it! The packaging isn’t amazing, you have to pull off the little ring attached to the neck of the bottle to be able to squirt the perfume, which is kind of fiddly.

It really is such a lovely scent, and although it didn’t stay on my skin all day, it lasted for a good few hours, which is pretty decent seeing as it only cost me around £15.

Soap and Glory describe the scent as:

‘Made with our Original Pink fragrance, a fresh fruity citrus with notes of bergamot, summer rose, peach, strawberry, gardenia blooms, jasmine, patchouli warm amber and lush musks.’

The mascara and facial peel are the only two other products I’ve tried so far, on first impressions I thought the mascara brush was way too big, however It was really easy to apply, and did give my lashes some more volume, however It was slightly clumpy to begin with as there was a lot of product on the brush. I wouldn’t say it was one of my favourite mascaras but I will be using it again.

I love the ‘facial peel’, although I wouldn’t really call it a peel, more like an light exfoliator/face mask. It has these tiny little green beads that you are meant to rub into your skin, but it doesn’t dry out and go hard like most face masks do. On the box it recommends you leave it on for 15 minutes for a ‘deep clean’, I did this and my skin felt really clean and smooth afterwards. Definitely give this one a go!

Have you taken advantage of the recent 3 for 2 offer on Soap and Glory?
