It’s no secret that I like designer bags, after starting at Farfetch this has been amplified due to the fact that I spend large amounts of time looking at every bag type you can think of by hundreds of amazing fashion designers.
A couple of years ago the main bag designer on my radar was Mulberry. My first ever purchase was the medium Lily in black and it was like my child (sad I know!) – I was reorganising my bags the other day and I pulled out this beauty. A couple of Christmases ago my boyfriend got me this mini Lily in the lovely metallic “mushroom” goat shade. It’s about a quarter of the size of my medium Lily and only really fits my phone and a few bits and pieces but I love it all the same.

As you can see it has a nice long strap so can be worn cross body and it has the classic postman’s lock on the front of it so you can make sure all of your belongings are safe and sound! There are also little card slots sewn into the bag so you don’t necessarily need to pack your purse. I think this is quite a festive bag, particularly because of the gold leather effect, but that’s not to say it can’t be used all year round.
Mulberry have a massive selection of the mini lily on their site, in all different shades. Their metallic leather collection is particularly nice! Although it’s quite pricey in the scheme of things it’s one of the cheaper bag options on the site. It makes it a great purchase if you’re looking for some luxury but don’t want to spend the absolute earth.
