Colour Icon Collection Palettes by Wet n Wild

I’ve been a big fan of Wet n Wild for ages, especially their eyeshadow palettes which I find are excellent quality and a great price. Sadly they don’t sell them in the UK, but whenever I go to America I hunt them down. I started off using their “Color Icon” trios, my favourite being “Walking on Eggshells”. It combines soft pink with neutrals and that I use time and time again.

I’ve seen their Colour Icon collection palettes on quite a few blogs before, but never managed to find them in any shops in America. Imagine my glee when I saw two of these beauties staring back at me when we visited Walmart whilst on holiday.

I chose the palettes “Petal Pusher” and “Comfort Zone” – you get 8 shadows per palette, for $4.99, basically 5 dollars people! Essentially 62 cents each for some pretty pigmented shadows. Wet n Wild say the shadows come with high pigment and pearl for ultra-impact colour. They’re also said to be crease-resistant and enriched with Macadamia oil, some pretty bold claims for such affordable products.

As you can see from the swatches the colour pay off is great! I’ve worn shadows from this range all night long before and I really don’t notice much creasing. You can hardly go wrong for just shy of 5 dollars! They all compliment each other really well, and blend effortlessly. I’d advise any one to hunt these palettes down if they visit the USA! You can find the ranges in most supermarkets and drugstores like Walmart, Walgreens and Publix.
