Getting married isn’t all beautiful wedding dresses and fun food tasting, it can actually be pretty stressful! From trying to organise various suppliers to making sure everything is perfect on the day. Something you also have to consider is making sure your venue looks fit for purpose with lovely wedding decorations!
After attending #BloggerPitP in August and seeing some of the lovely goodies Talking Tables had given us I knew I had to get in touch when they reached out to work with the bloggers that had been there on the day.
Their website is Instagram picture heaven. After speaking to the lovely Alice we agreed on me taking a look at some of their Decorations. They have a huge selection on site but I absolutely loved the classic white selection from their “Something In The Air” collection.
The doves all have a little crocodile clip on them. This makes it super easy to attach them to whatever you desire. I could imagine clipping them on an ornamental tree or dotting them next to a birdcage centrepiece.
I love the fact that the favour boxes and place cards match. It’s always nice to have a bit of consistency in your decorations and these two pieces are really delicate. I chose to write my name on my place cards (in my best cursive handwriting). But I also think it would be really easy to stamp names onto them to prevent my hand getting a cramp!
As you can see below the favour boxes require assembly, which is actually very easy even for someone like me who isn’t known for her construction ability.
Below you can see my attempt at making a favour box, I think it turned out fairly well! After tucking the card into place I popped a few sweets in the box and secured it with the ribbon provided. Really simple and a nice treat for guests at the table.
I haven’t yet decided on table decoration for my wedding but I love the delicate lace features of this collection from Talking Tables.
While I’m still on the topic though, here are some of my favourite floral centrepieces. How did you decorate the tables at your wedding?
