A couple of weeks ago me and Julie headed over to the Gosh SS17 press day held at the St Martins Lane Hotel. Their new season collection is inspired by the power of people and a “no norm” attitude. Part of the line includes these fabulous new liquid matte lips.
Infused with an extract derived from Dandelion. Rich in vitamins and minerals and proven to be anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and skin soothing. The liquid matte lips line provides you with a perfect matte look, combined with a great colour pay off. There are 8 shades, all of which are infused with LIPerfection.

What is LIPerfection I hear you ask?
Well, LIPerfection not only hydrates the lips, but increases their microcirculation. This combined with the nourishing dandelion extract means that after just one application of these lipsticks blood flow to the capillaries in your lips is improved. As a result your lips look volumised.
What Did I Think?
I really like these lipsticks. As you can see they come with a doe foot applicator. This makes for easy application of the product. They dry down to a matte finish and have a soft and creamy texture. Unlike some liquid lipsticks I have used they have no scent and are perfume free.
The good news is that they are long lasting. Like most liquid lip products you are prone to some colour transfer on items like cups but you can easily top the colour up.
I’m a big fan of the packaging, I think it’s very sleek and simplistic. They are perfect to put in your handbag and the colour range is great. With darker options like “arabian night” for a night out, and “candyfloss” which is a wearable everyday colour. You are spoilt for choice with the selection available here.
I did find the darker colours bled a little bit. I think I may need to pick up some slightly darker lip liners to use in combination with these products!
