Majorly Impressed by KISS Impress Press On Nails

I’m not a big adopter of fake nails. They kind of get on my nerves and I always feel a bit limited when I have them on. I can’t type properly, can’t open packages – I generally feel a bit useless. Plus the fact that when you take them off most of the time your nails are severely weakened, if not totally ruined. It takes ages to get them back into a nice state too! When Alex Silver sent over some Impress press on nails I was intrigued. Yes, they are a false nail, but not the type that sit in the glue, damaged nail league. These babies are so easy to apply. You basically pull off the sticky tab, place it on your nail and you’re good to go.

The nails come with an alcohol wipe. You just run it over your nails to ensure they are clean before application. Next all you have to do is select the nails that best fit your own, pull off the little glue tab and stick them down! You are given 30 nails per pack so there will definitely be nails to fit all! You are recommended not to get your hands wet for an hour after application. This helps them adhere to your nail more effectively.

They last really well given they are only connected to the nail via a little glue strip! I think you could get about 4+ days wear out of them as long as you don’t do anything to weaken them. (Leave the washing up to someone else!)

When it comes to removal it’s quick and easy. My packs came with a little wooden stick and I used it to lever one side of the nail and then pop it off. There was only minimal glue residue on each nail. This easily came off once I’d given it a wipe with some nail varnish remover. My nails were in as good of a condition as before and I wasn’t left with the brittle mess that comes with having acrylic nails.

As you can see the nails fit really nicely. Sometimes I don’t like nails that are super long, so I give them a trim. These impress press on nails are really easy to trim and file down if you should so wish. I’d recommend them to anyone who likes changing up their nails but doesn’t want the commitment of acrylics or the damage that goes with them!
