Bourjois Holiday Collection Review #BourjoisTheMetallics

I’m back with another review! This time it’s the new holiday collection from Bourjois that I was sent to review from Influenster. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the new metallic lip creams in shades 1, 3 and 5. An eyeshadow quad in shade “brilliant prunette”, a little round pot of blush, healthy mix foundation and concealer and a “push up” volume glamour mascara.

I got straight into creating a look with all of my products, so without further adieu lets see how they fared!

Healthy Mix Foundation & Concealer

I very rarely stray from my double wear foundation, so I was very interested to see how I got on with the healthy mix range of products. The formulation is said to contain a blend of vitamins for an “anti-fatigue effect. The hydrating formula also keeps your complexion radiant.

I actually really enjoyed using these two products. The formulation of the foundation was quite watery but it blended well and I feel it provided good coverage. The concealer blended nicely also, and although the coverage wasn’t as high as I’d usually like It’ll be great for days when I want a more natural look.

Priced at £9.99 and £8.99 respectively they’re both purse friendly options.

Metallic Lip Creams

My favourite items from the new collection were these metallic lip creams. They really remind me of my Huda Beauty lip strobes. They’re so easy to apply and the coverage is fantastic. They feel really comfortable on the lips and at £7.99 they’re an amazing high street alternative to the high-end lip strobes.

Brilliant Prunette Eyeshadow Quad and Push Up Volume Mascara

I am so impressed with this little eyeshadow quad, the shadows provide amazing pigmentation and are super vibrant! The little glitter center was a little gritty and hard to pack onto a brush, but I find most glitters hard to apply. It helped when I combined it with a small amount of Too Faced Shadow Insurance to really help it stick!

The mascara was lovely and although I created my look below with the help of some false lashes I found it did help to curl my lashes nicely and didn’t smudge.

You can find the shadow and the mascara priced at £7.99 and £8.99 respectively.

Little Round Pot Blusher

Finally the little round pot blusher in shade “Rose D’Or”. These blushes have been around for quite some time, but they are so cute! They have such a sweet scent (of roses I believe). The baked texture worked really well on my skin. Their small size and accompanying mini mirror and brush makes them perfect for touch-ups on the go. Available for £6.49
