I love a blogging event. I find they’re a great excuse to meet with old friends, chat to new ones and network with cool brands. After attending #bloggersxmas by Soeursdeluxe last year with my friends Chelsey and Aysh the opportunity arose to go along to the event again this year. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity for some festive fun, so on Saturday I took the train to Liverpool Street and met Chelsey before heading to the venue which was Finch’s Pub near Finsbury Square.
The Event
On arrival we were greeted with a table full of goodies and some booklets featuring info on the brands that were exhibiting at the event.
The Brands
Our first stop was Jewellery Box whose stall was so festive! We were all given a lovely gift box containing some festive jewellery which came presented in their lovely new packaging. They have a range of pieces at all different price points so there’s something for everyone!
As I mentioned previously, one of my favourite things about events is getting to meet new people and this event was no exception. I met the lovely Jess from The Wildflower, and the 3 of us had great fun going round the stalls together and eating some of the delicious food provided. Later we also got chatting to Nev from Nevenakrstic and we all had a good laugh together!
Joe Browns was also another brand exhibiting. It was great to chat to the friendly representative and see all of the new styles of clothing. I’ve been perusing the catalogue since and have already found a few bits to add to my Christmas list.
The highlight of the event for me were these stunning leather clutches from Gia London. I thought the blue metallic style was absolutely gorgeous, and cannot wait until these bad boys are available to buy online.
We also stopped by the Aromand stall, this business was run by a lady called Sue who produces candles and room sprays handmade in the UK. There were so many lovely fragrances to choose from but my favourite scent had to be “berries and black pepper”. The packaging was also lovely and looked extremely high end so perfect for Christmas presents.
As well as this we stopped by and chatted to Sweet Cheesus. They were an exhibitor from the previous year whose Cheesecakes are to die for. We also swung by PNY who had a massive wheel which you spun to receive a free gift! Something really fun and slightly different – who knows, maybe next you’ll see me on Wheel of Fortune!
Overall it was a really fun event that combined food, friends and festivity. It was quite packed at times which made walking about quite difficult but it was worth it to be able to have a good look at what everyone had to offer!
Above are just a few of the lovely gifts we received in our goody bags. I am particularly loving this palette from ‘I love makeup’. Also I can’t wait to try out the lens kit on my iPhone from PNY! Heres hoping next year brings the same amount of festivity!
P.S Can you spot me on the cover of the information booklet? 😉
