Too Faced Razzle Dazzle Berry – Scented Eyeshadow?!

The Too Faced Razzle Dazzle berry eyeshadow palette is a new addition to the brands line of cosmetics which was launched with their Tutti Frutti collection.

I picked it up from Ulta when I was recently in America. Straight away I was drawn to the cute fruity packaging and the fact it smells like berries! (Oh I love a gimmick!) As you can see the hardware on the palette is mostly gold, with a decent sized mirror inside. Although the smell of the product is fairly strong in the pan, it doesn’t transfer when you apply it. So don’t worry you won’t be walking around with eyes smelling like raspberries all day, although I honestly wouldn’t mind that!

The Shades

From left to right I found the shades ‘dazzle’ and ‘pink suede’ more difficult to swatch and apply. They just seemed a bit more dusty than the rest. I am a huge fan of the third shade along called ‘razzle’ as it had a beautiful shimmer. It was a tad bit crumbly though so I had to be careful not to get it everywhere! The last 4 shades in the palette are slightly darker with another favourite of mine being ‘berried treasure’ – the 4th shade along.

I also found the darkest shade ‘bad to the berry’ a bit harder to work with as it also seemed a bit dustier with glittery pieces in it.  Despite that, once on the eye I felt that the shades blended well together. Some are definitely more pigmented than others. With the matte shades being less on the pigmented side.

I really love berry shades and the more shimmery creamier options in this palette are very pretty. I think the palette would be great for anyone who likes to create bolder looks with some added glam. Just be wary of the slighly crumblier shades and use a dense brush when applying creamy shades like ‘razzle’ and ‘that’s my jam’.
